From ancient times people were amazed by the appearance of shadow. As a very young kid I was pretty confused while trying to reveal how shadow is created.

When I grew a little I tried to entertain myself with different figures which could be made with a pair of bare hands and decent source of light. I even had some book where I learned how to make a bat and duck with my hands, from shadow.

Paul Villinski, a professional photographer, has found some advantages of shadow as a source for artistic inspiration and as a very tool for their creation.
