Dusk seems to be a perfect time for taking some kind of magical photos similar to those made by Darren Pearson.
Here you are watching at some of photos made by him using long-exposure techniques. I had a chance to see plenty of different similar photographs but those are, of course, different in their own way.

Darren tried to create some kind of light-paintings in nature using earlier mentioned techniques. For getting as better contrast as possible he needed this to be done in night-time but he still decided to take photos in dusk, so he can get some contrast but at the same time he can get some natural background visible too. The result is this pretty impressive and entertaining gallery of photos (or shall we call them photo-paintings?).
