Rob Maclnnis is one of those photographers who became bored of photographing fashion models, famous people and human portraits in general. He turned to animals and found that there is a lot to be told with his camera. Maclinns takes respectable portraits of goats, cows, donkeys, horses and other animals that can be usually found on the farm.

Maclinns says that everything began as a metaphor. He made a couple of photos of farm animals which were planned to be a metaphor for the fashion models. He believes that divas do exist even on farms.

Maclinns takes the conventions from the world of fashion and he is trying to apply them in his work with animals.
