Infrared photography is a technique that is commonly used, and with it you can achieve some amazing results. In order to make infrared pictures you’ll need a special infrared filter that you have to attach to the camera lens.
The infrared filter actually blocks all the light that comes to the lens, except the infrared that isn’t visible by the human eye. This is the main reason why most of infrared pictures don’t have any color on them. If you’ve haven’t seen any infrared pictures before, I’ll have to notice you that they are not the same like the old black and white photos. It’s bit too confusing to explain so you’ll just have to see it for yourselves how does it work in action. Today we have several infrared pictures that we would like to share with you, and you’ll notice that most of them look like they’re covered in snow. Well, that’s not snow, it’s the magic of infrared photography, and we hope that you’ll like it.
