Diorama is a three-dimensional model, usually miniature version, and mainly made by hobbyists with the purpose of showing in museums, galleries etc. Adam Makarenko is one of such hobbyists who tries to reconstruct scenes from the nature and trying to make them as realistic as possible. After all of the sculpting job is finished he finally has to choose a proper angle and distance and to take a photo of it diorama...

When I hear the name of the brand Faber Castell, I just cannot avoid to remember me while being a small child painting with those sweet color pencils made by Faber Castell. Although this might sound you like an advertisement article, actually it is not, I really do not know how, but I do remember the name of that brand, probably because their logo was pretty outstanding, and it was pretty hard not to notice it on every color pencil I had.

Old junkyard where you can find some rusty metal remains of heavy machinery could be great inspiration for your photographic adventure. Indeed, machinery does not look like something which could be related with art at all, actually it sounds so rough that most of those who are talking about art would probably detest to say that word at all... But, the truth is little bit different than that...

I have never visited New York and probably I am not going to do so, ever. I am one of those people who are trying not to be fascinated with any place on Earth. At the end, all places, less or more, do look pretty same: some buildings, some streets, some shops etc. However, not all the places are same, of course. New York, with all of its features, has some specialties, which might be described as good or bad, but still they are specialties.

The art of modern times is pretty all about the some kind of escape. Artists seem to be afraid of using methods which were given by their predecessors as example of the ways which should be used in order to achieve artistic values. If we analyze why this is happening, we shall see that this kind of view on art and the artistic techniques is actually some kind of artistic cowardice rather than bravery.
