Despite that I am a huge fan of photographs of real things, especially of nature and animals, I cannot say that surreal photography cannot be good as well.
Maybe I am little disappointed by the fact that lot of photographers who are involved with surreal photography often chose to create some pretty scary and bizarre photos so I started to created my attitude about this kind of photographing only through such artists.

Happiness-by-Zsolt-Zsigmond-fp

I have been thinking recently about the fact that humans associate light with the happiness and dark with the sadness.
This seems to be pretty interesting. Since it is winter in my town right now, I was very happy when I saw that Sun is shinning yesterday and I have immediately left my home, even if I didn't planned that at all, and took some walk outside. Despite the fact that it was probably coldest day of this autumn, I haven't been bothered by that fact because the sunshine has influenced my mind and I was enjoying the whole day and I was pretty happy.

Today, when technology has reached its highest point of development in human's history, when you can easily acquire a quality camera for a pretty small sum of money, we could conditionally say that it is easy to be a photographer. But, about hundred years ago, It wasn't so easy to be a photographer, actually, it was pretty tough job.
At the very beginning of the photography, cameras weren't so small and cute as they are today, they were huge and they weighted dozens of kilos. Taking photo was a nightmare too. You had only one chance for a perfect shot, unlike these days when you can take thousands of photos and chose only the best one.

Taking portrait photography has always been more than just photographing. We do not claim that photographing nature and other things is worse or better than portrait photographing, but, for sure, we can say that there is, or must be, something personal between the one who takes the photo and the one who is photographed.
Every portrait photography is an unwritten story. If you carefully watch any of those portraits which are attached to this article, you can read the whole story about those who were photographed, their eyes and their complete face tells a lot about their way of life, their thoughts, hopes and beliefs.
